Automatic Gearbox Testing

Test equipment for the Automatic industry has advanced significantly in recent years, and since modern vehicles are fully electronic and complex systems, we use only the latest diagnostic equipment.

Bench testing the transmission unit can save valuable time by reducing unnecessary installation and removal of the automatic gearbox from the vehicle. A test plate is attached to the transmission. Then using the flow meter, the operator performs a test to indicate the amount of leakage at the piston or servo seals. A pass/fail condition can be determined.

Testing most mechatronic units internals

We can generate data testing the internal integrity of most TCM

Transmission Control Units.
Operating from the bench or in the vehicle on some application.

This system allows the technician to test internal components like shift fork position, speed, temp & range position sensors.

We can also extract stored information on original control units and transfer this information onto a new or exchanged mech unit often know as “cloning process.

SOLENOID & VALVEBODYTEST

Electrical & hydraulically Testing a wide range of valve body’s & solenoids.

We can open solenoids to access the internal components allowing part replacement, and cleaning of the fine debris that causes the solenoids to behave in an irregular way. We then calibrate the repaired solenoids, so they operate at there optimal capacity.

We are able to re-engineer valve body lands using OSV “Over size

Valves” with many selections of parts from Sonnax/??.
From modifications including OSV, line to lube engineering, upgrading electro boards & solenoids the list of repairs go on.

All tested and guaranteed workmanship.

CODINGMODULES

Many electrical components in today’s vehicles require pairing with the vehicle for security and calibration reason. Using main dealer equipment make this possible for us to achieve this inhouse, saving the customer time and money.
When changing hard parts/ electrical components a system reintroduction is required including adaptions, this is only achievable using DE tools.
